Our accommodation is designed with comfort and convenience in mind. Choose from spacious Super King Studios, comfortable Queen Studios or our practical Sleep & Go unit, with options to suit solo travellers, couples and small families.
Every unit is fully self-contained and includes a kitchen or kitchenette, ensuite bathroom, air conditioning and heat pump, Smart TV with SKY channels, free high-speed WiFi and daily servicing. Many units also feature modern double glazing, helping create a quieter and more relaxing environment.
Thoughtful extras such as plunger coffee, hair dryers, ironing facilities and comfortable dining or work areas make your stay even more convenient, giving you everything you need to feel at home while exploring New Plymouth.
Super King Studio
The Super King Studios are our largest and most spacious self-contained units, designed for comfort, convenience and a quiet stay in New Plymouth. Each studio features a large super king bed plus a single bed, making it ideal for couples, business travellers or small families. The rooms are fully self-contained and include a kitchenette with stove top cooking, medium bar fridge and microwave, along with a dining table and chairs suitable for both working and meals. Guests enjoy air conditioning and heat pump, a private ensuite bathroom with shower, and thoughtful extras such as electric blankets, ironing board, hair dryer and desk lighting. Entertainment is well catered for with a 40" Smart TV offering MySky HD and over 50 channels with recording capability. Free high-speed WiFi is available in every room, and double-glazed laminate windows help ensure a peaceful and quiet stay. Each unit is serviced daily and comfortably accommodates up to three guests.
Queen Studio
The Queen Studios offer comfortable, self-contained accommodation ideal for couples or solo travellers visiting New Plymouth. Each studio includes a queen bed and a well-equipped kitchenette featuring stove top cooking facilities, a quiet fridge and a microwave, along with a private ensuite bathroom with shower. Guests enjoy year-round comfort with air conditioning and heat pump, while entertainment is provided through a 40" Smart TV with SKY Guest Select offering 50+ channels. Free high-speed WiFi is available in all rooms, and practical amenities include desk lamps and daily servicing to ensure a clean and comfortable stay. Many Queen Studios are located in the quieter rear of the property near the garden BBQ area, while others are positioned at the front with elevated aspects and easy ground-level access. All rooms feature modern double-glazed laminate windows for a peaceful night's sleep and accommodate up to two guests.
Sleep & Go
The Sleep & Go unit is a compact, fully self-contained studio designed for short stays and single or couple occupancy. This room features a queen bed and includes a kitchenette equipped with stove top cooking facilities, a new quiet fridge and a microwave, providing everything needed for simple self-catering. The unit offers air conditioning and heat pump, a private ensuite bathroom with shower, and a 32" Smart TV with SKY Guest Select featuring 50+ channels. Guests also benefit from free high-speed WiFi, a hair dryer and daily servicing to maintain a clean and comfortable environment. Double-glazed laminate windows help ensure a quiet and restful stay. Please note this is a single unit and is slightly smaller than the other studio options, with a maximum occupancy of two guests.
Terms & Conditions
Payment
Credit card details are taken to secure bookings only. No pre-payment is
taken. Payment of the balance will be required from guests on check in. A deposit may be required during
peak times or main events to secure guests booking. Noise Levels: No visitors are allowed in rooms after
10PM. Any damage to the room or property will be charged, plus a charge for any resultant loss of income
if applicable. Smoking: Smoking is not allowed in any room on the property. If you do smoke, then you
will be charged appropriate cleaning and loss of income charges.
Cancellation
A minimum of 48 hours notice of cancellation is required. All
cancellations with less notice may incur a charge of total amount of accomodation. Non-arrival without
cancellation will incur a charge of total amount of accomodation. For group bookings a non-refundable
deposit is required 30-day before arrival. Please note: Special events and promotional room rates/offers
a no cancellation policy applies, which means, no refunds or changes permitted. All cancellations and
amendments must be received in writing. Refunds will only be made the to the credit card debited for the
original transaction.
Children
Families with children are more than welcome at Northgate Motor Lodge.
Children need to be supervised by an adult at all times to ensure the respect and privacy for other
motel guests.
